In this issue, we will introduce the events that took place in July and those planned for August.
Events in July
■Tanabata Festival （July 6）
This event took place at Motogo Hikawa Shrine.
At the Tanabata Festival, a workshop was held to make “wooden postcards,” in which participants carved illustrations on wooden postcards.
They drew illustrations to be engraved on the postcards and polished the wooden boards that would become the postcards with their own hands to create one-of-a-kind postcards.
Participants carefully polished the wooden boards and completed heartfelt postcards.
■Craft Workshop “Making Wood Speakers” （July 24, July 25）
We did a craft workshop at the Aoki-Higashi Community Center.
In this workshop, they created non-electric wood speakers for smartphones.
They pasted four boards together, polished the wood, and painted freely.
They worked hard to polish wood and paint.
They also used scraps of wood from the wood processing process to express various shapes.
It was impressive to see how they thought about and devised ways to use the scraps of wood.
Wood speakers full of character were completed.

JAPAN Re WOOD WOOD COLLECTION 2024
We are exhibiting at the WOOD COLLECTION 2024.
Date: August 17 ,2024/August 18, 2024
Place: South Hall 1 & South Hall 2 of Tokyo Big Sight
Flower Plaza & Light and Stone Square in Symbol Promenade Park
Free admission, no reservation required
At the event, a large collection of wood products from all over Japan will be gathered,
There will also be workshops and hands-on activities.
Comomg will be there selling our products,
If you have time, please come and visit us☻
The Grand Prix of Photo Contest 2024 has been selected.
From May 15, 2024 to July 15, 2024, we invited photos for the Comomg Photo Contest.
Thank you for your many applications.

This boy was clutching Donguri-kinoko and had a big smile on his face☻
We hope that the toys we have made will bring smiles to everyone’s faces.
We will continue to manufacture them carefully one by one.
